Pucker up

This month I finally found a nude option that doesn’t make me look ill or like I have coated my lips in foundation!!! Recently I got a free lipstick from Bourjois after spending £12 on a blush and eyeliner, I decided to go for a mauve pink colour as my collection was in need of something wearable on a daily basis DSC_1356

The colour is Rose Millesime 17 Bourjois Rouge Edition it is £7.99 on it’s own but there are usually deals with Bourjois make up in Superdrug and Boots. If you do order a bourjois product online I recommend the Superdrug website over the Boots one and the Bourjois one, as it actually helps you with the shades! I do like the lipstick on it’s own, it has a nice creamy finish which nourishes the lips and the colour doesn’t need building up so it sits nicely on the lips. It is meant to last for 10 hours… Not too sure about that but they do wear for a good amount of time. To shear out the colour and add a bit more gloss I add the Max Factor colour Elixir Gloss in Pristine Rose. The glosses were created by the Max Factor make artist Caroline Barnes for the ‘Nude Pomade’ collection. DSC_1352

This gloss is so lovely it is a girly ballet pink. It isn’t sticky, it has a nice colour to it and gives the lips a fuller plumper appearance and it is very silky. I found the gloss when I was looking for a nice pink nude that would suit 60s style make up. The gloss costs £7.99 CSC_1366
Excuse the spots I am only human! This has been my go to lip look for everyday and paired with a more dramatic eye it is nice for taking a look from day to night.
